Xero is in the process of updating its subscription plans, which will include alterations to both pricing structures and the features in each subscription tier.

On 1 July 2024, Xero is:
  1. Increasing the pricing of the Starter, Standard, Premium 5 plans,
  2. Launching three new streamlined business plans (Xero Ignite, Xero Grow and Xero Comprehensive)
  3. All Premium 10–100 plans will convert to the enhanced Ultimate 10–100 plans on 1 July 2024.
  4. Starter, Standard and Premium 5 plans will be phased out and converted to the new plans by 31 March 2025
1. Increasing the pricing of the Starter $3 per month, Standard & Premium 5 plans $5 per month
  • Starter will increase from $32 incl per month to $35 incl per month
  • Standard will increase from $65 incl per month to $70 incl per month
  • Premium 5 will increase from $85 incl per month to $90 incl per month
2. Launching three new streamlined business plans (Xero Ignite, Xero Grow and Xero Comprehensive)
The new streamlined business plans are designed to provide easier access to the tools to help run your organisation efficiently. That means more key features included, with fewer plans and no add-ons to navigate.
As a result, the Starter, Standard and Premium plans will no longer be sold from 1 July 2024.
Here’s the new line-up of plans:
  • Xero Ignite: Limited Invoices and bills, No Payroll
  • Xero Grow: Unlimited Invoices and bills, 1 employee & 1 Expenses*.
  • Xero Comprehensive: Unlimited Invoices and bills, 6-200 employees + Auto Super & 10 Expenses* + Xero Analytics**
  • Xero Ultimate: Unlimited Invoices and bills, over 10 employees + Auto Super & 5 Expenses*.

3. All Premium 10–100 plans will convert to the enhanced Ultimate 10–100 plans on 1 July 2024.
Ultimate Plans will include:
  • Payroll for 10-100 employees depending on the plan
  • Xero Expenses* Function for 10 people + $5/mth/additional user after this.
  • Analytics Plus**
Here is the current and new pricing for the Premium Xero Subscriptions 10-100

*Xero Expenses is a function within Xero that be used with a connected phone app and within Xero’s web-based program.

Xero Expenses enables approved users to:

  • Submit expense reimbursement requests, and/or enter transactions that have already been paid by your organisation’s bank, debit or credit cards.
  • Approvers to approve the Expense, and
  • Speed up the process to reimburse the expense or reconcile expenses that have already been paid.

** Analytics Plus
Xero Analytics. This includes two dashboards: short-term cash flow projection and business snapshot. Analytics Plus is a more comprehensive version of Xero Analytics, giving you access to more advanced features on the dashboard.

4. The Starter, Standard and Premium 5 plans will be phased and converted to the new plans by 31 March 2025
  • Xero will be in touch with us with more details before they make any changes to other plans and will give us a minimum of 60 days’ notice before plans are moved. Benkorp will endeavour to get the relevant information to you asap after that.
  • Xero intends to move all subscribers to new plans by March 2025
  • Alternatively, you can choose to move to a new plan straight away
  • If you want to upgrade, downgrade, remove an add-on from your current plan or transfer your subscription, a new plan will need to be chosen
  • Once you’ve moved to a new plan, your previous plan will no longer be available
Other new Xero Subscription plans will be phased in during the year.

Summary of what will happen when

1. On 1st July 2024
